The Diet Science Pty Limited (Australia) Last updated: 19/03/2026 Contact: thedietscience01@gmail.com
The Diet Science provides general nutrition education, lifestyle guidance, and wellbeing support through our AI features and (where available) optional 1:1 consultations. Nothing on our Platform is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Our service does not replace advice from your GP, accredited practising dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional. Always seek medical advice if you have symptoms, concerns, or a diagnosed condition.
The Platform is not for emergency use. If you have urgent symptoms or think you may be having a medical emergency, call 000 (Australia) or your local emergency number immediately.
You are responsible for how you use any information from The Diet Science. Any food, exercise, supplement, or lifestyle changes you choose to make are done at your own discretion and risk.
Some responses are generated by AI. AI can sometimes be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or misunderstood, and it may not consider all factors relevant to your situation. You should use your judgement and verify important details (especially around allergies, medication interactions, and medical conditions).
If any of the following apply to you, you should seek personalised clinical advice before making major changes to diet, fasting patterns, supplements, or exercise routines:
pregnancy or breastfeeding
diabetes or blood sugar conditions
kidney, liver, heart disease, or gastrointestinal disease
eating disorder history or suspected eating disorder
severe allergies (including risk of anaphylaxis)
medically prescribed diets
medications that can be affected by diet (e.g., anticoagulants, insulin, thyroid medication)
recent surgery, cancer treatment, or complex medical history
children/teens under 18 (unless parent/guardian supervises and appropriate clinical care is involved)
If you are unsure whether you fall into a higher-risk category, please consult a healthcare professional before relying on our service.
While we can help you plan meals and make suggestions, you must always:
check ingredient labels, allergen statements, and nutrition panels
confirm restaurant ingredients and cross-contamination risks
follow food safety practices (storage, cooking temperatures, expiry dates)
We are not responsible for allergic reactions, adverse effects, or food safety issues arising from food choices or preparation.
Health outcomes vary widely. We do not guarantee specific results (such as weight loss, symptom improvement, performance outcomes, or clinical improvements). Results depend on many factors outside our control.
If you book a 1:1 consultation through The Diet Science, it is provided by a nutritionist and is offered within the scope of nutrition education and lifestyle support. These consultations do not replace medical care. If your situation requires medical nutrition therapy or clinical management, we may recommend that you consult a GP and/or an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) or other appropriate clinician.
To maintain continuity of support and service quality, we may keep records of your interactions, including chat logs and call transcripts. We do not record call audio, but calls may be transcribed into text. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle information and how you can request deletion of transcripts and meal photos.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
